My Life Never Had You

Still remember that night,

I was sleeping, hugging the pillow tight,

Water rolling down the eyes,

As you played your steps,

Put me down, with no hopes to rise.

My eyes on your last message,

That alone I had to cover the life’s passage,

After spending endless days,

And sleepless nights,

You felt I’m not the one,

And left me, as if I’m your none.

No one does this even with enemies,

And you did with the one, who walked to you on knees.

You didn’t even tell the reason,

And taught me life’s most essential lesson,

That only those people make your life shatter,

Whom you felt will not leave you ever.

Earlier I prayed to spend the whole life with you,

But now I wish,

My life never had you.
